OpenDNS serving more than 250,000 queries per seco

OpenDNS has revealed that they are now serving more than 250,000 queries per second.

This comes to around 22 billion queries per day which is a new record for them.

The service continues to grow despite facing new competition from Google who recently launched their own Public DNS service.

OpenDNS said:

We have a some great new features we’re excited to share with you over the next couple months that will apply to all users of our service, free and paid.
